ARLINGTON, Va. – Sophomore Erin Worthman scored a pair of second-half goals to lift the Frostburg State women's soccer team to a 3-1 victory over Marymount in the regular-season finale for both schools, Tuesday.

The victory propels FSU to 8-7-2 overall and 4-2-2 in the league. More importantly, Frostburg has earned a spot in the upcoming CAC Tournament that starts this Saturday. The Bobcats will await CAC contests on Wednesday for their final seeding and matchup in the opening round.
Worthman had a hand in all three Bobcat goals on the evening. She assisted junior Stephanie Fazenbaker for the game's first goal in the 15th minute.
Worthman crossed a pass from the right corner that Fazenbaker slipped past the keeper and inside the far post at 14:39.
Chloe McAuliffe knotted the game at 1-1 with her seventh goal of the season in the 23rd minute for the Saints (5-11, 2-6).
However, the second half belonged to Worthman. Fazenbaker crossed a pass from the left side through the box that Worthman connected on at 52:44 and a 2-1 lead.
The third and final Bobcat goal mirrored the second. Sophomore Brooke Longo crossed a ball from the left side that found Worthman for the game's final tally and a 3-1 victory.
Marymount keeper April Westmark came up big for the hosts in net with 10 saves to keep the game at 3-1. Junior Katie Smith needed to make just one save for the win.
