WAYNESBURG, Pa. – The Frostburg State University women’s cross country team captured 11th place at the Waynesburg University Invitational on Saturday.
FSU finished with 265 points just four behind 10th-place Bethany (261).
Sophomore Gabbi Maher led the charge for the Bobcats. She captured 30th with a time of 26:36.1.
The tandem of sophomore Bryn Allston and junior Jen Bower finished 43rd (27:23.0) and 44th (27:25.7) for the Bobcats. Freshman Morgan Carroll finished in 64th place in 28:37.1, while freshman Sidney Castro captured 84th in 30:53.6.
In two weeks, the Bobcats host the Frostburg State University Invitational at Maplehurst Country Club in Frostburg, Md.
