MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Frostburg State volleyball team lost a pair of matches to Penn State Behrend and Allegheny College on the second and final day of the Allegheny Tournament on Saturday.

FSU (0-13) dropped the first set of the day to Penn State Behrend 3-0 behind scores of 25-21, 25-21 and 25-14. In the second match, Frostburg fell to Allegheny, 3-0 (28-26, 25-14, 25-19).

Against Penn State Behrend, sophomore Andrea Armstrong led the Bobcats with 11 kills and 13 digs. Junior Victoria Veirs added 10 kills and Maddie White chipped in with eight.

Sophomore Morgan Hoover led against Allegheny with seven kills. White totaled six kills and 13 digs while Armstrong posted five kills and 22 digs.

Sophomore Kass Greis passed out 29 assists in both matches, including 22 against Allegheny.

The Bobcats return to action on Wednesday, September 19 when they travel to face Marymount at 7:00 pm.
