FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The Frostburg State University volleyball team had its season come to a close Thursday evening with a 3-0 loss to Mary Washington in the opening round of the CAC Tournament.

The Bobcats finish their season with a 5-29 overall record while UMW improves to 12-12 overall and travels to Salisbury on Friday for the semifinals.

FSU fell to the Eagles by set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-15.

Sophomore Maddie White posted 10 kills, 16 digs and three blocks to lead FSU statistically. Classmate Andrea Armstrong finished with four kills and five digs, while sophomore Morgan Hoover posted seven blocks. Senior Chelsea McCloskey handed out 15 assists to go along with eight digs.
