With the win, the Bobcats improve to 8-2-1 while the Knights slip to 3-7 on the season.

Proctor got the hosts on the board early in the 11th minute of action. The Bobcats drew a foul outside the 18-yard box and senior Liz Seligman sent a perfect free kick in front of the net for Proctor to head home to give FSU a 1-0 lead.

The Bobcats then went just over 10 minutes without a goal but made up for it by scoring three within 36 seconds of each other. Sophomore Stephanie Fazenbaker kicked off the scoring flurry after taking a corner kick from Seligman and drilling it past the Knights' goalie, Autumn Bronson. Junior Adria Graham took a perfect through ball from Fazenbaker just 15 seconds later and blew by the defenders to score her team and conference leading 17th goal of the season. Junior Chelsea Paskowski put the finishing touches on the trio of goals taking a pass from Fazenbaker on a breakaway and sending the ball home to put FSU up 4-0 just 20:46 into play.

The Knights would get one back, however, to cut the Bobcat lead to 4-1. Jade Sorensen worked the ball into the box, played it off a defender and slid the ball past the diving FSU goalie.

Freshman Chelsie McCoy put FSU back up by four just four minutes later to push the lead to 5-1. After Graham took a shot, the ball was saved and deflected into a scrum in front of the net. McCoy gained control of the ball and beat Bronson.

Freshman Erin Worthman took a pass from classmate Madison Wilson with just 3:21 left in the opening frame and netted her fourth goal of the year to give FSU a 6-1 lead going into intermission.

Proctor capped off the night's scoring with a goal in the 73rd minute to put FSU up 7-1, where the score would hold. After being awarded a corner kick, Worthman took the corner and sailed the ball into the box for Proctor, who headed home the game's final goal.

Frostburg held a decisive 28-6 advantage in shots, including a 16-4 lead at the half.

Sophomore Katie Smith earned the win in the net for the Bobcats, needing just one save in the victory. Bronson and Makenzie Lundquist split time in the net for the Knights with Bronson making seven saves in the loss and Lundquist posting five in the second half.

Frostburg returns to the field on Saturday, October 6 when the Bobcats travel to Salisbury for a key Capital Athletic Conference match. Kick off is set for 12:00 pm.
