FROSTBURG, Md. - The Frostburg State University men's basketball team ended a four-game losing skid with a 96-76 lopsided victory over Stevenson on a cold and windy Wednesday evening.

FSU improved to 7-9 overall and 2-5 in the Capital Athletic Conference while Stevenson sank to 5-10 overall and 1-5 in the league.
The victory placed 12th-year head coach Webb Hatch at the top of the program's all-time wins list. He is now 153-157 and passed Oscar Lewis, who was 152-137, for the top spot in school history.
The Bobcats secured the win behind four players in double-figures. FSU turned in its second-best shooting effort of the season, making 50.7 percent (36-of-71) from the floor. Frostburg also scored 28 points off of 22 Mustang turnovers.
Senior
Mhabhushah Koffa (Germantown, Md./Seneca Valley) led all players with 22 points behind a game-high nine field goals (9-of-12). He was a near perfect 7-of-8 (87.5%) from the field in the second half with 16 points.
Junior
Troy Dockett (South Riding, Va./Freedom) scored 19 points and led all players with three 3-PT's. Senior
Brian Anderson (Perry Hall, Md./Eastern Tech) added his first career double-double with 16 points and 11 assists. Junior
Maurice Williams (Columbus, Ohio/Pickerington Central) rounded out the four players with 16 points and a team-high seven rebounds.
The Bobcats took control of the game in the first half behind a 15-2 run that covered three and half minutes and handed them a 41-24 lead at 4:14. Frostburg continued the pressure and the lead swelled to a first-half high 22, 50-28, before settling for a 52-33 lead at halftime.
The lead remained above 20 points for the early part of the second half until FSU pushed its lead to a game-high 25 points on three separate occasions. Stevenson cut the deficit to 15 points, 81-66, but FSU pushed it back to 24 points before winning by 20.
FSU hits the road for its next two CAC games beginning this Saturday when they travel to St. Mary's at 4:00 pm. The Bobcats then visit Mary Washington on Saturday Jan. 22 at 4:00 pm.
