FROSTBURG, Md. - Amanda Wharton (Mt. Airy, Md./South Carroll) scored three first half goals to lead the Frostburg State Bobcats to a 7-1 win over the Marymount Saints Tuesday night in Capital Athletic Conference action at Bobcat Stadium.

Cassie Donahue (Cumberland, Md./Fort Hill) scored from the left side from eight yards out off of a
Lauren Russell (Waldorf, Md./Westlake) rebound.
Wharton joined the party in the 15th minute as she beat Marymount goalkeeper Gabriela Prellezo on a breakaway. After a
Heather Fleishell (Middletown, Md./Middletown) header in the 18th minute made it 3-0, Wharton finished off two more breakaways within 1:05 of each other.
Adria Graham (Grantsville, Md./Northern Garrett) and Russell had the assists.
Liz Seligman (Rockville, Md./St. Johns College) capped the first half scoring in the 41st minute for her first goal of the season. The Bobcats outshot Marymount, 16-0, in the first half and 26-1 for the game.
The lone Marymount shot came on a penalty kick score from Paige Pierson. Donahue’s second goal of the game closed the scoring in the 65th minute on a feed from Wharton.
Wharton now has 13 goals on the year, with five game-winners. Russell led all players with six shots.
The Bobcats continue their conference schedule Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Mary Washington.
