Emily Furr (Damascus, Md./Poolesville) hit the NCAA Division III provisional mark in the high jump as the Frostburg State men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Gator Invitational, Friday.

Furr tied for first in the high jump with a provisional mark of 1.65 meters and also finished in fourth-place in the triple jump (11.20 meters).
Sophomore
David Thomas placed second in the long jump (6.94 meters) and third in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.95. Senior
Tarik Muhammad (Pittsville, Md./Riverside) crossed the line in seventh-place in the 400-meter dash (50.35) and 13th in the 200-meter dash (23.11).
In the 400-meter hurdles, senior
Steven Flanagan (Cumberland, Md./Fort Hill) captured 13th with a time of 58.22 while sophomore
Gavin Caupp (Frostburg, Md./Mt. Ridge) placed 16th in the 5,000-meter run (15:38.38).
Junior
Amy Brennan (Fort Washington, Md./St. Mary's Ryken) finished in 12th-place in the 400-meter dash (1:00.60) and 10th in the 100-meter dash (26.69).
Senior
Gwen Massey (Thorofare, N.J./West Deptford) captured seventh in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:41.41, missing the NCAA provisional time by only three seconds.
In the 5,000-meter run, senior
Christina Aumand (Chesapeake Beach, Md./Huntingtown) finished 21st (19:24.14) while junior Jessica O'Neil (Mechanicsville, Md./Chopticon) crossed the line in 24th-place with a time of 20:05.54.
The FSU track & field teams are back in action at the NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships May 27-29 at Baldwin-Wallace College in Barea, Ohio.
