GIBSONIA, Pa. - The men's and women's swimming teams took home five individual Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference All-Conference honors as announced on Tuesday.
At the AMCC Championships, the men's squad captured third-place while the women placed fifth.
Freshman
Trevor Kozlow (Columbia, Md./Wilde Lake) was named to the AMCC First Team All-Conference team for his performances in the 200-yard individual medley and the 400-yard individual medley after capturing the AMCC championship titles in both events.
Kozlow placed first in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:00.79 while finishing in first-place in the 400-yard individual medley with an AMCC championship meet record time of 4:22.05.
In the 1,650-yard freestyle, senior
Jack Hudson (Gaithersburg, Md./Gaithersburg) was awarded second team all-conference honors after taking home second-place in the AMCC with a time of 18:05.88.
For the women's squad, senior
Thirza Roberto (Pasadena, Md./Pasadena) captured two AMCC individual second-place finishes, earning second team all-conference honors.
Roberto's second-place finishes came in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:12.87) and in the 200-yard backstroke when she touched the wall with a time of 2:18.68.
The FSU men's squad finishes its season with a 5-7 record while the women were 3-10 on the season.
