FROSTBURG, Md. - The Frostburg State University volleyball team posted a hard-fought 3-2 win over SUNY Cortland in the 2010 NCAA Volleyball Regional, Saturday afternoon. The Bobcats rallied several times during the match, but led throughout the fifth and decisive set.

The Bobcats (34-3) advance to the regional championship and will take on top seed and No. 3 ranked Juniata at 4:00 pm. The win also puts FSU within two victories of the school record (36).
FSU jumped out to an early 1-0 lead (25-20) in the first game, but Cortland evened the match with a 25-13 win in the second behind a .478 hitting percentage. The Bobcats surged ahead 2-1 after a slim 25-23 win in the third, only to watch the Red Dragons again tie the match with a 25-21 win in the fourth. However, Frostburg State raced out to a 9-3 in the fifth before earning a 15-10 win.

Kylie Carrington (New Freedom, Pa./Susquehannock) handed out 40 assists and had six digs. Senior
Brittany McVearry (Severna Park, Md./Severna Park) led the team with 18 digs while Amber Winterling had 13. Senior
