Scott Wasser (Leesburg, Va./Heritage) scored his first goal of the season, but Frostburg State came up just short of earning a spot in the 2010 Capital Athletic Conference Tournament with a 4-1 loss to Stevenson, Thursday.

Stevenson took the lead just 20 seconds later when Matthew Liska scored off a rebound for a 2-1 lead. SU added to its lead at 34:13 when Justin Carver scored on a crossed ball from the left side.
Stevenson, which dominated the first half offensively outshooting FSU 8-1, scored its final goal in the 62 minute when Josh Stover scored off a cross, this time from the right side.
SU finished with a 16-5 edge in shots and a 9-2 lead in corner kicks.
