FROSTBURG, Md. - Frostburg State had four players score in double figures and used a 25-5 run to close out the first half on its way to a 75-60 win over Franciscan in AMCC men's basketball action, Wednesday evening.

FSU trailed by four, 21-17, with 7:45 left in the opening half but collected a 25-5 run over the remainder of the half for a 42-26 lead at intermission. Frostburg State continued to pour it on in the second stanza as it extended its lead to 27 points (62-35) just five minutes into the second half. Franciscan (2-8, 1-6) cut the deficit to 18 points (75-57) at 2:54 and later brought it to 15 (75-60) at the final horn.
Josh Ducoulombier led the Barons with 17 points and three three-pointers while Andrew Kay added 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Both teams attempted 69 shots on the evening while FSU held a slim 25-22 edge in baskets. The big difference came at the free throw line where the Bobcats were 19-of-31 effort (61.3%) while FUS was just 7-of-12 (58.3%).
Frostburg State hosts No. 21 ranked and unbeaten Medaille (12-0) this Saturday at Bobcat Arena at 3:00 pm.
