COLLEGEVILLE, Pa.- Senior Steven Flanagan (Cumberland, Md./Fort Hill) and classmate Dan Bloch (Baltimore, Md./Dundalk) competed at the Ursinus Pentathlon for the Frostburg State men's track and field team on Wedneday afternoon.

Flanagan finished in fourth place with 2,720 points while Bloch captured tenth recording 2,127 points.

Flanagan's best finishes came in the 1,000-meter run (2:54.21) and the 55-meter hurdles when he crossed the line at a time of 8.79.

Bloch also excelled in the 1,000-meter run with a time of 3:15.29 while finishing strong in the long jump with a mark of 5.43 meters.

The Bobcats return to action on January 29 at the Bison Open hosted by Bucknell University.
