YORK, Pa. - The Frostburg State men's and women's swimming teams fell to non-conference opponent York College, Saturday afternoon.

Thirza Roberto (Pasadena, Md./Chesapeake) captured an individual win in the loss for the Bobcats in the 100-yard breaststroke, when she touched the wall in first-place with a time of 1:13.34. Roberto also placed third in the 200-yard backstroke (2:22.17) and tied for third with freshman
Sam Mulvey (Pasadena, Md./Chesapeake) in the 50-yard freestyle (27.63).
Freshman
Jessica Rice (Gransonville, Md./Kent Island) in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:37.39 and the 400-yard individual medley (5:28.09).
For the men, freshman
Trevor Kozlow (Columbia, Md./Wilde Lake) captured second-place in the 400-yard individual medley (4:32.28).
Freshman
Caleb Stair (Hyndman, Pa./Hyndman) posted two third-place finishes on the day. Stair finished third in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:06.84) and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:27.91).
In the men's 200-yard backstroke, freshman
James Hibbert (Waldorf, Md./Thomas Stone) placed third with a time of 2:48.31.
The Bobcats are back in the pool at home on January 30 against Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opponent Pitt-Bradford for a 1:00 pm contest.
