ERIE, Pa. - The Frostburg State volleyball team swept past Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference rival Penn State Behrend, 3-0 on Saturday afternoon to increase its winning streak to four matches.
Frostburg State (14-3, 1-0) defeated Penn State Behrend (8-5, 2-1) with game scores of 25-20, 25-19 and 25-21.

Brooke Winterling (Glenelg, Md./Glenelg) led the Bobcats posting 15 kills, nine digs, two service aces and two blocks. Junior
Sarah Stephens (Oakland, Md./Southern Garrett) added 11 kills, six digs and one block in the winning effort for the Bobcats.

Chelsea Wassell (Westernport, Md./Southern Garrett) and sophomore
Sabrina Winterling (Glenelg, Md./Glenelg) helped to fill out the box score for the Bobcats. Wassell had seven kills and two blocks while Sabrina Winterling posted five kills and threes blocks of her own.

Amber Winterling (Glenelg, Md./Glenelg) aided in the win for FSU with her seven digs and one service ace, while junior
Jamie Thomas (Laurel, Md./Reservoir) contributed 12 digs and two blocks. To finish out the box score, junior
Brittany McVearry (Severna Park, Md./Severna Park) recorded six digs and three service aces.
Leading the Bobcats in assists was sophomore
Kylie Carrington (New Freedom, Pa./Susquehannock) with 37. Carrington also posted six digs, two service aces and one block in the win for FSU.
The Bobcats look to carry the four-game winning streak into Tuesday, September 29 as they host AMCC opponent Pitt-Greensburg at 7:00 pm.
