Women's Tennis Drops First Match of the Season to Westminster College

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Frostburg State women's tennis team dropped its first match of the season to non-conference opponent Westminster College, 6-3, Thursday.

The Bobcats has an overall record of 2-1 on the season, 1-0 in AMCC.

Freshman Megan Martin (Richmond, Va./Mills Goodwin) picked up her third victory of the season in the No. 4 singles competition after defeating Westminster's Rachel Jack with scores of 7-5 and 6-2. In the No. 5 singles match, senior Elizabeth Coblentz (Mt. Airy, Md./South Carroll) defeated Dana Griesmer 6-4, 1-6 and 10-5. In the sixth singles competition of the day, sophomore Jannill Sites (Waynesboro, Pa./James Buchanan) defeated Beth Ekimoff, 6-4 and 6-0.
