Mike Stevenson (Bowie, Md./Bowie) defeated Kevin Houseknect in the No. 1 singles competition (1-6, 6-2, 7-6 (11)) and senior
Jeff Lesky (Elmira, N.Y./Elmira) picked up the win in the second singles match against Peter Mally (6-1, 6-2).
In the No. 5 singles competition, Mike Hurst won against Adam Woodruff with scores of 6-2, 6-4 while sophomore
Phillip Darden (Washington, D.C./Thomas Stone) defeated Justin Cozad in the the sixth singles match (6-3, 4-6, 7-6 (4)).
