FROSTBURG, Md. - Sophomore
Michael Bistany (Greenbelt, Md./Damatha Catholic) slipped a shot into the corner of the net just over two minutes into double overtime to hand the Frostburg State men's soccer team a thrilling 2-1 win over La Roche, Tuesday afternoon.

Dillon Muise (Germantown, Md./Clarksburg) dropped a pass to Bistany who scored the game winner that handed the Bobcats (9-6-1, 5-3) their fifth-straight win.
FSU led La Roche (7-8-1, 5-3) in both shots (16-5) and corner kicks (6-1) but all the action took place after halftime.
Frostburg State struck first, less than five minutes into the second half. Muise and senior
Alex Super (Annapolis, Md./St. Mary's) assisted a
Ricky Marchant (Rockville, Md./Walter Johnson) header that put the hosts ahead 1-0.
Senior
Sean Jones (Pasadena, Md./Severna Park) had an chance to give the Bobcats a two goal advantage 11 minutes later. Jones hit a shot over the head of Redhawk keeper John Happel, but was kicked away by a La Roche defender that kept the score at 1-0.
Ten minutes later, La Roche tied the game with its first shot on goal of the second half. After a turnover in the box, Reuben Jolo drilled a left footer that found the upper right corner of the net.
However, Frostburg State controlled both overtime periods, attempting four shots, including three in the first. The Bobcats finally broke through in the second overtime frame when Bistany scored his fourth of the season.
FSU goalkeeper
Stephen Cavallo (Charlotte, N.C./East Lincoln) made three saves in the win while Hapel stopped eight saves in the loss.
FSU hosts Pitt-Bradford this Saturday at 3:00 pm.
