FROSTBURG, Md. - Sophomore
Heather Fleishell (Middletown, Md. / Middletown) provided two goals as the Frostburg State women's soccer team powered past St. Vincent 3-0, Tuesday night at Bobcat Stadium.
The win improves the Bobcats record to 5-1-1 on the season.
The FSU (5-1-1) offense proved too much for SVC (3-4-1) as the Bobcats posted a 19-4 shot advantage for the contest. Junior
Lauren Lentine (Princeton, N.J. / WWP North) struck first for Frostburg State as she netted her third goal of the season just two and a half minutes into the contest.
Fleishell placed her first goal of the night in the net just six minutes later off of a Lentine assist, giving FSU a quick 2-0 advantage.
The Bobcat defense dominated the game allowing no shots after the half, while the offense had 10 second half attempts.

Meische Cox (Laurel, Md. / Meade) at 53:39 to put the match out of reach for the Bearcats.
SVC goalkeeper Kirstie Mills handled the Bobcat onslaught by recording a season high nine saves. Frostburg State freshman keeper
Michelle Buckmaster (St. Leonard, Md. / Calvert) recorded her first career victory and shutout with the win.
Frostburg State is back on the field Thursday, September 25 when it travels to Catholic for a 4:30 pm matchup.
