BRADFORD, Pa. - In its AMCC opener, Frostburg State had no trouble getting past Pitt-Bradford as the Bobcats won 4-0 behind a pair of goals from junior
Amanda Drake (Montgomery Village, Md./Watkins Mill), Saturday afternoon.
FSU is now 4-1-1 overall and 1-0 in the AMCC on the season while Pitt-Bradford slips to 2-6 overall and 0-1 in league play.
Drake scored back-to-back goals in the opening half to give the visitors a 2-0 lead. Sophomore
Kierstin Stevenson (Frostburg, Md./Beall) assisted the first score while sophomore
Lauren Russell (Waldorf, Md./Westlake) assisted the second.

Shonna Ferree (Frostburg, Md./Beall) scored the third and final goal of the first half, an unassisted tally that put the Bobcats up 3-0 at intermission.
The only goal of the second half came off the foot of junior
Lauren Lentine (Princeton, N.J./WWP North) who barried a shot in the back of the net off a feed from junior
Kaleigh Herring (Perry Hall, Md./North Harford).
Junior keeper
Stephanie Gwinn (Ijamsville, Md. / Urbana) earned the win after playing just 60 minutes. She was replaced for the final 30 minutes of the contest by freshman
Michelle Buckmaster (St. Leonard, Md./Calvert).
