Junior Lauren Lentine
ARLINGTON, Va. - Junior Lauren Lentine (Princeton, N.J./WWP North) provided the only offensive output that the Frostburg State women's soccer team needed as it defeated Marymount 1-0, Wednesday night.

The Bobcats, despite winning by only one goal, outshot the the Saints (1-3-1) 19-8 including a distinct 12-3 second half advantage. FSU (3-1) also led 11-0 in corners kicks.

Lentine's goal, her first of the season, came right before halftime and helped the Bobcats to a 3-1 overall record on the season and three-game winning streak.

Classmate Kaleigh Herring (Perry Hall, Md./North Harford) dropped off a pass to the charging Lentine who fired it into the back of the net from 18 yards out.

Junior Stephanie Gwinn (Ijamsville, Md./Urbana) earned the win and recorded her second shutout of the season after playing all 90 minutes in goal. She made four saves.

Carrie Schneider played just the first half for Marymount and made four saves while suffering the loss. Her replacement, Sara Horne stopped five shots in the second half and kept Marymount in the game.
