CRESSON, Pa. – Senior
Tricia Richardson (Gibson Island, Md./St. Mary's) scored the game's first two goals to lift Frostburg state to a 4-0 shutout victory over Mt. Aloysius, Saturday afternoon.
The Bobcats (13-2-2, 8-1) led 3-0 at the half and added in insurance goal in the second to extend their series lead over MTA (2-10-1, 0-7) to 5-0.
Richardson scored the game's first goal after a shot was misplayed by the Mountie keeper and she found the net for a second time after a low cross beat the goalie inside the back post.
Junior
Lauren Lentine (Princeton, N.J./WWP North) scored her fifth goal of the season to give the Bobcats a 3-0 lead. Sophomore
Lauren Russell (Waldorf, Md./Westlake) dropped off a pass to Lentine who scored the final goal of the opening half.
In the second, junior
Amanda Drake (Montgomery Village, Md./Watkins Mill) scored the final goal of the game as she turned and fired from 16 yards out for her fourth goal of the year.

Stephanie Gwinn (Ijamsville, Md./Urbana) and freshman
Kristin Prochniak (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) split time in net for the win.
Frostburg State hosts La Roche for its regular-season finale this Wednesday (Oct. 29) at 6:00 pm.
