CRESSON, Pa. – Senior Tricia Richardson (Gibson Island, Md./St. Mary's) scored the game's first two goals to lift Frostburg state to a 4-0 shutout victory over Mt. Aloysius, Saturday afternoon.

The Bobcats (13-2-2, 8-1) led 3-0 at the half and added in insurance goal in the second to extend their series lead over MTA (2-10-1, 0-7) to 5-0.

Richardson scored the game's first goal after a shot was misplayed by the Mountie keeper and she found the net for a second time after a low cross beat the goalie inside the back post.

Junior Lauren Lentine (Princeton, N.J./WWP North) scored her fifth goal of the season to give the Bobcats a 3-0 lead. Sophomore Lauren Russell (Waldorf, Md./Westlake) dropped off a pass to Lentine who scored the final goal of the opening half.

In the second, junior Amanda Drake (Montgomery Village, Md./Watkins Mill) scored the final goal of the game as she turned and fired from 16 yards out for her fourth goal of the year.

Bobcat starter Stephanie Gwinn (Ijamsville, Md./Urbana) and freshman Kristin Prochniak (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) split time in net for the win.

Frostburg State hosts La Roche for its regular-season finale this Wednesday (Oct. 29) at 6:00 pm.
