FROSTBURG, Md. – Junior Heather Fleishell (Middletown, Md./Middletown) netted a header with 34 seconds left in the game to clinch a 1-0 victory over Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opponent Penn State Behrend.

The Lions (5-9-1, 4-2) and Bobcats (11-2-2, 6-1) battled for 89 minutes with little threats toward either goal as both defenses were dominant throughout the contest.

As time was winding down Fleishell powered her way above a group of defenders to place the ball in the net off a corner kick from senior Tricia Richardson (Gibson Island, Md./St. Mary's). The goal is the fourth on the season for Fleishell.

PSB goalkeeper Beth Lacy kept the FSU offense at bay recording five saves, while Bobcat keeper Stephanie Gwinn (Ijamsville, Md./Urbana) had three saves on the afternoon.

Frostburg State returns to action on Saturday, October 25 at Mount Aloysius for a 1:00 pm matchup.
