FROSTBURG, Md. - Washington & Jefferson scored a pair of goals in each half as it defeated Frostburg State, 4-0, Saturday at Bobcat Stadium.

Laura Peery gave the visitors an early 1-0 lead just 1:40 into the game. She gathered in a rebound in front of the net and fired it past FSU's keeper Amanda Runion (Leonardtown, Md./Leonardtown).
The Presidents added their second goal of the half at 21:28 when Kolbey Seidel scored off her own missed shot.
In the second period, Amanda Howard knocked in her own rebound at 40:50 and Beth Kelley tallied the final goal of the game when she scored off a feed from Shannon Rainey.
Sophomore Kelly Filipowicz (Elkridge, Md./Long Reach) led the Bobcats with four shots while freshman Brooke Tapman (Salisbury, Md./Pocomoke) had three.
Runion made five saves including three in the first half while suffering the loss. Ashley Rund stopped five shots, four in the first.
The Bobcats return to action tomorrow when they host Shenendoah at noon.
