CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Sophomore
Kelly Filipowicz (Elkridge, Md./Long Reach) scored three goals to lead Frostburg State to a 5-1 victory over Wilson, Tuesday afternoon.
The Bobcats rebound to even their record at 3-3 after losing to No. 8 ranked Salisbury this past Saturday.
Filipowicz now leads FSU with six goals including five goals in the last three games.
Her first goal of the contest gave the Bobcats the early 1-0 lead just three minutes into action. Seven minutes later, sophomore Samantha Stalter (La Plata, Md./La Plata) added to the Frostburg State lead with her first goal of the year.
In the second half, Filipowicz netted two more goals and sophomore
Michelle Frost (Jessup, Md./Hammond) fed clasmate
Aly Erickson (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) for the final goal for the Bobcats.
Samantha Valentine scored the only goal for Wilson two minutes into the second half.

Amanda Runion (Leonardtown, Md./Leonardtown) picked up her third win of the season after stopping five shots.
Frostburg State returns to action this Saturday when it travels to Randolph Macon at noon.
