WINCHESTER, Va. - Frostburg State men's soccer fell to Shenandoah University, 3-1, Saturday, giving the team a 3-3 record.
Freshman
Nick Bauer (Leonardtown, Md./Chopticon) scored the only goal for the Bobcats with an assist from junior
Adam Gracia (Rockville, Md./Thomas Wootton) at 31:21, giving Bauer his first career goal.
Adam Aldinger scored all three goals for the Hornets. Aldinger netted an unassisted goal in the 21st mintue of the game, only to add another at 29:10 off an assist from Robert Peck. At the 50-mintue mark, Aldinger scored his third goal off an assist from Chris Wondree.
Despite the loss, FSU had eight shots in each period, outshooting Shenandoah 16-9.
Junior
Jay Herford (Crofton, Md./South River) made one save in the loss for the Bobcats while Brian Garrentson made five saves for the Hornets in the win.
The Bobcats are back in action at Franklin and Marshall this Wednesday at 7:00 pm.
