SALISBURY, Md. - Five different players scored goals for the No. 8 ranked Salisbury field hockey team as it shutout Frostburg State, 5-0, Saturday afternoon.
FSU (2-3) was able to manage just three shots in the loss while SU (6-1) scored five times on 21 shots. Junior

Kelly Filipowicz (Elkridge, Md./Long Reach) and freshman
Brooke Tapman (Salisbury, Md./Pocomoke) each registered a shot for the Bobcats .
Lauren Correll, Abby Tedford and Danielle Twillney each scored for the Sea Gulls in the first half. SU held FSU without a shot in the first half while attempting 14 of its own.
The second half saw more of the same from Salisbury as it tallied a pair of goals from Beverly Beladino and Caitlyn Ruffus for a 5-0 lead.
All three Bobcat shots came in the second forcing SU keeper Maria Ramoundos to save all three.

Amanda Runion (Leonardtown, Md./Leonardtown) played the first half in goal for FSU making five saves allowing three goals while freshman
Amanda Schemm (White Hall, Md./North Harford) played the second half, allowing two goals and making two saves.
Frostburg State returns to action next Saturday when it travels to Salisbury for a match at noon.
