Kelly Filipowicz (Elkridge, Md./Long Reach) scored the only goal for the Frostburg State Bobcats as they ended their regular season with a 4-1 loss to No. 6 ranked Christopher Newport, Saturday morning.

FSU had its five-game win streak snapped in the loss and ends the season with an 11-6 overall record. The six losses are the fewest in a season for the Bobcats since the 1999 team finished 13-5. The Bobcats will now wait for a possible bid to the ECAC Tournament.
CNU (16-2) used a three-goal second half to break open a 1-1 halftime tie. The Captains got back on the winning track after suffering a 1-0 loss to Ursinus last Sunday.
Filipowicz netted her team-leading 17th goal of the season with 21:45 left in the first half to give FSU the early 1-0 lead. CNU added a late goal in the opening stanza to tie game. The Captains put the game away in the third with their three goals.

Amanda Runion (Leonardtown, Md./Leonardtown) played the entire game for the Bobcats turning away six CNU shots.
