Frostburg State ends the season on a three-game conference winning streak in which it has outscored opponents 27-1.
"It was nice to know that we didn't need to win to make the tournament," said head coach Keith Bynres. "The guys showed up ready to play and everyone wanted to end on a good note. We also wanted to improve on last year's record and tournament seeding."
With the pair of goals, Laskow added to his conference and team leading total and now has 17 on the season.
He put FSU up 1-0 in the first half with an unassisted goal from approximately 25 yards outs. In the second half, the Redhawks (11-6-1, 6-2) tied the game up with a goal off a corner kick but Laskow answered midway through the second with the game winner off a pass from senior
Kenny Dotter (Baltimore, Md./Sparrows Point).
