CRESSON, Pa. - Three different players recorded double-digit kills and the Frostburg State volleyball team remained undefeated in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference play with a 3-0 shutout victory of Mt. Aloysius, Tuesday evening.
FSU (12-7, 3-0) has now shutout all three AMCC opponents this season.
The Bobcats defeated the Mounties in three sets, 30-16, 31-29 and 30-28.
Sophomore
Brooke Winterling (Glenelg, Md./Glenelg) had 19 kills and has now posted 10 or more kills in 18 matches this season. Freshmen
Sarah Stephens (Oakland, Md./Southern Garrett) and
Jamie Thomas (Laurel, Md./Reservoir) each had 12 kills and Thomas added 10 digs.
Senior
Jenny Wheaton (Ashburn, Va./Stone Bridge) had 45 assists and freshman
Rachel Burke (Laurel, Md./Reservoir) had 12 digs.
