FROSTBURG, Md. — Senior
Jenni Brygider (Locust Grove, Va/Orange County) scored the game-winning goal in overtime to give the Frostburg State field hockey team a 2-1 win over Bridgewater, Tuesday afternoon.
Brygider’s goal snaps FSU’s (1-5) five-game losing streak and gives the Bobcats their first win of the season.

After back and forth play through the middle part of the half, the Eagles(0-4) got on the board just before the end of the first when Rachel Schaefer scored with 2:45 left on the clock.
Neither team found the net the rest of the half and the game headed into intermission tied a 1-1.
Both teams had plenty of chances to score in the second half as the Eagles outshot the Bobcats 6-5, but the game remained tied 1-1 at the end of regulation.
Brygider, who started overtime on the bench, entered the contest and netted the game winner less than a minute later with 9:55 left in overtime.
