Men's Soccer Shuts Out Mt. Aloysius, 4-0

CRESSON, Pa. – Sophomore Adam Gracia (Rockville, Md./Thomas Wootton) had three assists as Frostburg State shutout Mt. Aloysius 4-0, Wednesday afternoon.

The Bobcats improve to 5-9-1 overall and 3-3-1 in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference while Mt. Aloysius falls to 1-12 overall and 0-7 in the league.

Gracia recorded all three assists in the first half and all three came off of FSU cornerkicks. Freshman Greg Bistany (Greenbelt, Md./St. John's College) scored the first goal for FSU followed by scores from junior Alex Wilkinson (La Vale, Md./Bishop Walsh) and freshman Patrick Ferraris (Springfield,Va./Paul VI Catholic).

In the second half, senior Jeff Bisker (Fallston, Md./Fallston) scored the fourth Bobcat goal when he took a pass from sophomore Robert Tarzy (Rockville, Md./Thomas Wootton) and slipped it past the Mountie keeper to cap the scoring.

Sophomore Jay Herford (Crofton, Md./South River) played the entire game for FSU in net, collecting his first collegiate win.

Frostburg State returns to action on Saturday, October 21 when it travels to Pitt-Bradford at 3:00 pm.
