WASHINGTON, DC — Freshman Sarah Rutland (North Potomac, Md./Holy Cross) scored the game’s only goal to lead Frostburg State to a 1-0 win over No. 15-ranked Catholic in field hockey action Thursday afternoon.

The teams battled through three scoreless periods of play before Rutland found the net in the 77th minute for the win.

Senior goalie Kristin Cousin (Edgewater, Md./South River) played a stellar game and made 18 saves to earn her 10th win and third shutout of the season.

The Bobcats close out the regular season, Saturday as they travel to Houghton for a 1:00 pm contest.
