Football … Starting quarterback for all four seasons. At the time of his induction into the Hall of Fame, he held 10 FSC records, nine in passing. These include: most passes attempted in a game (29, vs. Shepherd, 1971) and in a career (522); most pass completions in a season (94 in 1973) and in a career (228); most yardage passing in a game (197 vs. Shepherd, 1971) and in a career (3,214); highest pass completion percentage in a season (50.8 in 1973P and in a four year career (43.6); most touchdowns passed for in a career (26); and most total offense in a career (4, 057). He was in a 3- way tie for an 11th record-most pass attempts in a season (185 in 1971). Best offensive player award- 1971. All-Maryland college mention 1971, 1973 Quarterback most successful FSC season to date 7-1 record in 1970. Earned four letters in four years.
