Sean Warfield was a two-time Honorable Mention All-American and four-year letter winner for the Frostburg baseball program from 1989-92.
During his junior and senior seasons, Warfield became the Bobcats’ starting centerfielder and he earned numerous honors and awards. Aside from his two All-American awards, Warfield was an All-South NCAA Division III First Team selection as a senior and he was a second-team honoree as a junior. He also garnered All-Eastern States Athletic Conference (ESAC) First Team honors during both of his final two seasons.
Over his four years, Warfield hit .374 and was ranked seventh in program history at the time of his nomination. He also boasted a .965 fielding percentage and he ranked sixth in the career record books at the time of his nomination.
FSU won 82 games during Warfield’s career with three-straight ECAC South Tournament appearances, including tournament championship trophies as both a sophomore and junior.
