Soccer … Three letters in three years (1961-1963). Scored 18 goals and had 9 assists. All-South selection in 1962. Led the team with 6 goals in 1961 and 5 goals in 1963 and 7 goals in 1962. Shared senior award with co-Hall of Famer John Chaney in 1963. This All-American nominee was so highly regarded by opponents that he was triple-teamed by Pitt. Considered by his coaches to be not only a dominating player, but one of exceptional leadership qualities and game intelligence. A totally dedicated and unselfish athlete.

Basketball … One letter in one season (1962-1963). Played 13 games scoring 25 points on 6 field goals and 13 free throws.

Tennis … One letter in one season (1964). Played #3 singles.

Baseball … Two letters in two seasons (1962-1963).
