Coach of Basketball … Seven years (1960-1967). Highly regarded basketball mentor whose controlled offense and disciplined defense led to successful F.S.C. teams. The 1962-63 Frostburg State team finished with an overall 17-4 record and was the first F.S.C. team to ever participate in NAIA or NCAA playoffs. Ron’s 83 basketball wins ranks him second on the F.S.U. coaching list, his .576 won-lost percentage ranks fourth.
