Football … One of Frostburg State’s all-time great pass receivers. At the time of his induction, his 17 career touchdowns receiving was tied for the most in F.S.C. history. Until 1984, he held the College record for TD receptions in a season with 7. Prior to 1982,Ron held school records in the most yards gained receiving in a game (144) and the most pass receptions in a season (45). He currently ranks fourth on the F.S.C. list with 107 career receptions.
He scored 102 points in his career, leading the team in that category with 42 in 1973.
An All-Maryland Collegiate first team choice twice: 1973 and 1974. Was named the teams Most Valuable Player and Best Offensive Player in 1973. Earned three letters in three seasons.
