Basketball … Four letters in four seasons. Team Most Valuable Player in all four seasons, the only FSC athlete ever to accomplish this feat. Team captain in his junior and senior years. At the time of his induction, the second-highest scorer in FSC men’s basketball history with 1,464 points. His 496 points in one season and 390 in another ranked third and eighth on the college’s seasonal scoring list.
Led the team twice in field goal percentage (53.5 and 53.9 in ‘74-’75 and in ‘75-’76), in free-throw attempts (124 in ‘74-’75 and 81 in ‘76-’77), and in rebounds (259 in ‘73-’74) and 279 in ‘74-’75). Also was the team leader once in field goals made (221), field goal attempts (413), and points scored (496), all in 1974-’75; in free-throw made (56) and free-throw percentage (69.1), both in 1976-77.
