All-American … Five-time All-American: 100-yd. backstroke (‘84-’85), 200-yd. backstroke (‘84-’85 and ‘85-’86), 200-yd. free relay (‘84-’85 and ‘86-’87). 4 time Honorable Mention: 100-yd. backstroke (‘85-’86 and ‘86-’87), 50-yd. freestyle (‘86-’87), 200-yd. free relay (‘85-’86). 2 time Academic All-American (‘85-’86 and ‘86-’87).

National Championship Performer … Nikki compiled this record in the NCAA Division III Championships, placing nine times: 1984-85 – 7th place – 100-yd. backstroke; 9th place – 200-yd. backstroke and 200-yd. free relay; 1985-86 – 9th place – 100-yd. backstroke and 200-yd. free relay; 1986-87 – 7th place – 200-yd. backstroke and 200 yd. free relay; 9th place – 100-yd. backstroke; 13th place – 50-yd. freestyle.

F.S.U. Most Valuable Swimmer … 1984-1985

F.S.U. Most Outstanding Swimmer … 1985-86 and 1986-87

Record Setter … Nikki set eight F.S.U. swimming records, five of which still stand at the time of her induction. The latter include: 50-yd. freestyle (24.14), 50-yd. backstroke (28.42), 50-yd. butterfly (28.49), 200-yd. free relay and 400-yd. free relay. Records set, since broken: 100-yd. butterfly (1:02.67), 200-yd. individual medley (2:19.83), and 800-yd. freestyle relay. Great versatile swimmer. At the time of her induction, ranks with Laura Schlegel as one of the top female swimmers in F.S.U. history.
