Baseball … 1970-1973- Outstanding left-handed pitcher. Holder of all-time FSC records in won-lost pitching percentages, both season and career, at time of his induction. The seasonal record was 13-0 set in 1973. The career record was 22-1. His two-year record for 1972 and 1973 was 19-0. In 1972, he led the team with fewest hits permitted (25 in 50 2/3 innings), shutouts (4), won-lost percentage (6-0, 1.0000) and ERA (.053). The latter is an FSC seasonal record. In 1973, he led the team in innings pitched (80), strikeouts (94), shutouts (3), and won-lost percentage (13-0, 1.0000). His career totals: 169 innings pitched, 115 hits, 94 walks, 185 strikeouts, 7 shutouts, a winning percentage of .957, and a 2.34 ERA. His most outstanding accomplishment was his 1-0 shutout victory over Oklahoma Christian in the opening game of the NAIA World Series in 1972.

Soccer … An outstanding fullback for his four seasons. Besides having a knack for keeping the offense from scoring, he was an intelligent player with leadership qualities. A member of NAIA District 18 soccer Championship team in 1970 and 1971.
