Soccer … An outstanding fullback for his 3 years, John was renowned for his tremendous "Foot". Injuries prevented his competition in his fourth year. Frostburg States only two-time All-American up to the time of his induction. John and Jim Byrnes were FSC's first All-American. Received All-American honors in 1953 and 1954.
Track … Two letters in two seasons (1955 and 1957) competed in the shot put and discus.
Letters … Earned five letters, three in soccer and two in track.
