All-American … Recognized 15 times for this honor: Indoor – 3 times in the 55-meters, twice in the long jump. Outdoors – 3 times each in the 100- and 200-meter and the 4x100 meter relay, and once in the 4x400 relay.
National Champion … Winner of 3 individual national championships: Indoor – 1987 – 55-meter (time – 6:31). Outdoors – 1987 – 200-meter (21.7). 1986 & ’87 – 4x100 meter relay. Member of 3 F.S.U. National Championship teams: 1986 Indoor team and the 1986 & ’87 Outdoor team.
National Meet Leading Scorer … Led all competitors with 16 points scored in the 1986 indoor meet. Scored 12 points in the 1985 indoor meet.
National Record Holder … A member of the 1986 4x100 relay team whose 40.39 time, as of his induction, was still an NCAA Division III national meet record. Also set a new national meet record in the 1987 indoor 55-meters with a time of 6:31, since broken.
Mason-Dixon Conference Title Winner … Won 8 Conference titles: Indoor – 55-meters (1984, ’85, ’86) and long jump (1985); Outdoor – 100-meters (1984, ’85) and 4x100 meter relay (1985, ’87).
F.S.U. Record Holder … All still stand at time of his induction: 55-meter – 6.31; 100-meter – 10.35; 4x100 – 40.39; Indoor Long Jump – 24’ 5¼"; Outdoor Long Jump – 24’ 10”; 4x200 relay – 1:25.9.
