Basketball … Scored 1,349 points in career, ranking second on F.S.C. all-time scoring list. For eight years this total was a school record. Led team in scoring all-four years, scoring 283,305,377 and 384 points. George led the NAIA in free-throw shooting in 1959-60 season, making 63 out of 69 attempts for a 91.3% record. In the 1961-62 season he shot 93.6% from the line. His four-year free-throw record was 88.2% (285 out of 323). Led team in field goals three years and in free-throws made for three years.

ccer … All-South fullback three years, 1960,1961,1962. George was recognized as one of the very best soccer fullbacks in F.S.C. history.

Baseball … As a three-letterman in Baseball, George was a standout infielder and a good hitter. Despite the lack of records, it is known that he batted .291 in 1962.

MVP … Shared the Most Outstanding Athlete Award in 1963 (with Hank Winner).

Letters … Earned 11 letters, four each in soccer and basketball and three in baseball.
