Field Hockey … Four letters in four years. Named to the Baltimore College Field Hockey Association Team I in 1975, to Team II in 1972 and ’73, and as an alternate in 1974. Led the Frostburg State team to the 1975 BCFHA Championship. Awarded the F.S.U. “Outstanding Forward” trophy in both 1974 and 1975. Led team in scoring in 1974 with 5 goals. Scored 4 goals as a senior in ’75, 3 goals as a sophomore in ’73 and 2 goals as a 1972 freshman.
Lacrosse … Three letters in three years. Named to the Baltimore Women’s Lacrosse Association Team I as a freshman in 1973, the year Frostburg State won the Maryland State Women’s Championship and compiled a 12-0-1 record, the best undefeated season in F.S.U. history. Named to the BWLA Team II in 1975 and as an alternate in 1974. Ellie scored a personal high 11 goals in ’73, and 3 goals and 6 assists in ’74, and 7 goals and 6 assists in ’75. Awarded the F.S.U. “Outstanding Attack Player” in 1975.
