Baseball … Four letters in four years. All-American, 2nd team, 1986; 3rd team, 1984. All-South 1st team 1984, ’85 and ’86. All-Penn-Mar Conference in 1986, its first year of existence. Holds 7 F.S.U. all-time season records and 7 all-time career records.

Season: Highest batting average - .469 (in 1986); most home runs – 11 (1986);
runs scored – 50 (’85); extra basehits – 26 (’86); total bases – 103 (’86);
slugging average - .928 (’86); and bases on balls – 37 (’85).
He ranks 2nd in hits – 52 (’86); extra basehits – 23 (’84); doubles – 12 (’86); and sacrifice flies – 5 (’85).

Career: Highest battling average - .409; hits – 151, runs scored – 132;
slugging average - .743; doubles – 33; extra basehits – 67; and total bases – 274.
He ranks 2nd in R.B.I.’s, 120, and sacrifice flies, 9; 3rd in triples, 12; home runs, 22; and bases on balls, 76.

As the centerfielder for 3 years, Bill established a career record for outfield assists with13, and ranks 2nd with 161 putouts and 187 chances.
