Kodak1st team All-American, 1985 Pizza Hut 3rd team All-American, Honorable Mention, 1983; FSU’s Offensive M.V.P., 1984. In 1984, Bill ranked second in the NCAA Division III national rankings in both number of receptions (70) and receiving yards (1182), and ranked third in receiving TD’s (10).
At the time of his induction, he held seven F.S.U. records 2 game, 3 season and 2 career game records: most yards receiving (195) and most TD receptions (3), both vs. Mercyhurst, 1984. Season records: most pass receptions (70), most yards receiving (1182), and most TD receptions (10), all n 1984.
Career records: most pass receptions (157) and yards receiving (2491).
In 1984 and 1985, Bill led the team in the same four categories: receptions, receiving yardage, TD receptions and total TD’s.
