Sophomore women's swimmer Samantha Mulvey has been selected as the FSU Female Athlete of the Week.

Mulvey was awarded the weekly honor after a stellar effort in last week's loss to Pitt-Bradford. She won two events and added a second-place finish in another.

She won the 50-yard freestyle (27.45) and the 100-yard freestyle (1:02.12) and then added a second-place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke (3:02.67).

She has six wins on the season; three each in both the 50 and 100-yard freestyle events.
