Freshman Patrick Mead captured his first FSU Male Athlete of the Week honor of his career. He led the Bobcat mens' cross country team to a sixth-place showing at the Battle for the Buggy race on Saturday at Elizabethtown College.

Mead finished with a career-best 22nd overall finish in 20:19.
