Senior forward Lauren Russell has been named the FSU Female Athlete of the Week. The Waldorf, Md. native, helped the Bobcats to a 1-1 week and into a two way tie for second place in the CAC.

FSU dropped a close 2-1 decision to Stevenson last Wednesday, but rebounded for a 5-0 shutout of St. Mary's (Md.) this past Saturday on senior day. Russell scored three goals, including two in the second half, as the Bobcats posted their ninth shutout of the year.
